My son is at the stage, where he occassionally tries to disemble, or outright shift blame, for things like a suspicious puddle on the floor.  He has no siblings or pets other than 2 caged rats, so the blame usually gets shifted to his Dada.
Such is not the subject of this posting to my “blog-roll”.
I actually had a more self-centered idea for this one.  This one began with an epiphany that struck me, Today.  Finally:  I am the ME that I want to be.
I am no longer living in my Parents’ home, by their rules.  I have created my own family, and am living my chosen lifestyle, and planning my days the way that I want them to be. 
The key word there, was “planning”.  I have harped on this a lot, in many of my blogs.  Why should Today be different?
Things don’t change just because we wish them to change.  In fact, we can’t really change our situation at all until we change ourselves.  Check out the book:  The 7 Habits of Highly Effective People by Franklin Covey.  It will explain this fact in great detail, and how to change yourself if you really want to see change happen around you.
If we want to see change happen, then we have to be motivated enough to change our habits.  We aren’t going to slim down or get a larger base of clientell coming through our door, by doing the same things we’ve been doing for the past x years.  If I want to lose 10 more pounds, I have to add some extra exercise to my routine.  I can’t just exercise once in a while, either, so I have to put it in my calendar, so that it happens a few days each week.  If I want more people to come to me for massage, I have to constantly find new ways of making myself known. 
These facets of my life, actually seem to be coming together, now.  I see my belly dance teacher at least once a week, and it will be at least twice a week, soon, as I will be participating in my debute performance, early in ‘08.  I’ll keep you up to date, in these blogs.  We’re still working on finding a Venue, and then we’ll start figuring out costuming. 
I’m also offering new massage deals all the time, and finding new and prominent places in which to display my business paraphanelia.
