Victory!!!!!!!!!! A New Home For My Bus!!!!!!

I can’t tell you all how thrilled I am to have found Naomi Richman, MFT at 201 Weller St.

Today I went to see the cute little office that she’s renting out next to her own, and it’s just perfect for me.  It has an elevator for my clientelle who sometimes come to me in pain, and they will still have the option of having me go to them.

The River House on Weller, has a very nice patio on the water outside, where I could even see giving a class or two on oils, or (w)holistic living when the weather permits.  Some of my collegues who already work there may even consent to being guest speakers for the series of classes that I’d like to run.  Their expertise would be more than welcome and appropriate.  I know this before even meeting them, because Naomi told me what they do.

I’ll be working almost directly across from a Physical Therapist, and down the hall from a facialist, and next door to Naomi herself.  The whole building, in fact is filled with such professionals in the therapeutic field.

And don’t be surprised to see a slight change in the name of my business.  I think that starting fresh should really be starting fresh, and have decided that for the sake of clarity, my business name should match my URL.  I am now Perfect Day Massage.

I hope that you’ll be listening to our local radio stations and going to Movies in the Park and the Mamapedia and SpecialDeals.com websites, because these are all places in which you can find my promotions.  It may take me some time to even up pricing because I’ve never had any business or marketing classes.  I was afraid that I’d have to learn math as a prerequisite.  LOL.  I’m having to learn on the job, about marketing and pricing.

I hope that my new clientelle will consider taking a class series from me in the future.  I’m planning on having some networking time before each guest speaker.  The over-all message of my class that I’d like to get across is that each of us is not a loose conglomeration of disparate puzzle pieces.

We tend to fall back on the idea or excuse that we’re one person having to wear many different hats, or fill many different roles at any given time.  Doing so tends to be too much multi-tasking at once, and causes us to make mistakes and become forgetful, or careless.

Slowing down can be a large part of the solution, and there are many ways in which to remind ourselves to do that, and to heal enough so that we’re comfortable enough in our own bodies to be able to think straight.  Yes, I’m talking about those alternative therapies, like your favorite exercise classes; Accupuncture; Naturopathy; Nutriton; Homeopathy; etc.

My guest speakers will come from fields such as these.  I will be letting everyone know about my classes as soon as I have dates for them.  Please watch for my blogs and flyers.

Thanks for reading, everyone.  Have a great day.
