Yes, I’m still running my Half Off days.  The next ones are May 20 and 22, and those are filling fast.  In June the Half Off days will be the23rd and 25th.  Massages are only $35. on Half Off days while supplies last.

I’ve found another fun group:  Black Berry Scouts.  They seem to meet in Sebastapol for fun nature walks and picnics. 

Well that’s one of many groups that I’m trying to get involved with, just now, in order to get some sunshine and fresh air and friends, this Summer.  The others are SCA (Society for Creative Anachronism);  Parent Pack and PetalumaParentsNetwork.

I appreciate the work that went into forming these groups, and hope that word will get back to the founders that I highly recommended that my readers check out their sites.

Lately, I spend some of my free time playing Scrabble on the ISC site, some of it reading trashy pulp fiction, and some of it dancing.  I may have mentioned our love of dancing before.  We do ball-room and Latin, and when I’m on my own, I practice some belly dancing.

  I’ve also lately researched and convinced my husband to to purchase a Labradoodle puppy. 

The idea of “Designer Breeds” offends some folks.  I can’t really help that.  We had some rather specific requirements for our new family member.

I just hope, Readers, that your Summer will be as exciting as ours’ is going to be.  It’ll be a Summer of a lot of firsts:  Our son will go to his first day camp and on his first camping trip.  The Labradoodle will be our (almost) first dog.We tried a Bedlington, but it was a bit nippy and over-protective and had to go back to the breeder.

Well, happy Summer funs to you, Readers.  Remember it doesn’t just happen.  You have to find your fun, then put it in your calendar.  If it’s in your calendar,  it’ll get done.

I go looking for stuff like Farmers Markets, on line, and then I follow the links.  I look into what the Park and Rec is offering for the Summer.  I watch the sites that are created by the groups that interest me, like Parent Pack.
