The URL in the title of this post is a cool site run by my other brother. If you are feeling run down, and like there aren’t enough hours in your day/week/YEAR to get things done, you may want to learn about other types of calendars you could be using to mark time, just to make a change, and then try making the change for a while, and see if it helps.
I often tell my clients to change one little thing, like the arrangement of their furniture, or the direction or position of their bed, in order to change their perspective. It works because of the mind-body connection. It’s like walking a mile in someone elses shoes, but better, because the shoes that you’ll be walking in are your own shoes that you could have been walking in all along, in order to perceive different and or better solutions to problems or conundrums that have you stimied.
Another way of looking at why this works is to say that: A change is as good as a rest. When you change the direction of your bed, you are giving yourself a rest from sleeping in the original direction. I can pretty much guarantee that you’ll note a remarkable difference in your dreams, if not on the first night of the change, then within the first 3-4 nights.
So if you feel like taking all my advice a step further, and really getting some refreshment, you can try a gentle herbal tea detox, and or check out that link in the title to my brother’s site.
On his site he describes different calendars such as the Jewish Calendar, the Moon Calendar, and the Egyptian calendar, and the wisdom that went into the creation of each and how different types of people could benefit from using the different types of calendars, and from getting closer to the Earth by walking, planting a garden, etc.
My brother has long had a love of the Earth, Ecosystem, and has spent quite a lont time studying patterns in the Earth’s geography, and our relationship to the rest of the universe. He has recently been focusing intently on the wisdom of our ancestors, and on trying to figure out why they built the pyramids, and other AWE- some structures how and where they did.
I’m going to check into a moon calendar Today.
G’luck Dear Readers. Hope that you have as much fun reading my brother’s stuff as I have.
