The Universe at Home
Saturday, September 23rd, 2006 My life coach had me create a mission statement. In order to embody the concept, it was important to state it thusly: I am a commitment to…………..
So I thought and I thought, and I thought, and here’s what came of it: I am a committment to healthful and joyful success, for myself, and others.
My coach gave me to understand, that this is how mission statements, and visions are born, and since then, I’ve begun to understand, that this is where true success begins, for me. Success, for me, is not doing things that rich people do, simply for the pleasure of LOOKING rich. Success, for me, is being able to make enough to get by, by doing what makes me really happy.
I love any opportunity to tell people what to do, for their own good. I also love giving massage. I’ve found that, most times, they flow together quite naturally.
I would love nothing more than to be known to my clientelle, as ”the saucy, bossy, little, red-headed CMT on E. Washington St”.
This has become part and parcel of my answer, when people ask me what I want to be, when I grow up. As I’m 30 something, I figure I must be about a third of the way there, and I’m more than willing to take friends and family with me, on my personal journey of evolution.
The way I see it, everyone has their own personal journey of evolution, otherwise known as a life journey. I have found that it’s much more fun to make an effort to meet people, along the way that really interest me, because they are consciously on the same type of journey, and their lifestyles bear some similarities to my own.
So add to my desired label “Saucy, bossy……………”: Super Referral Girl, because, if I’m going to tell people to see an expert, then I’ve got to know who that expert is.
Please let me know, if you’re an expert in something, and you want to link up, online, or be on my list of referral candidates.
