Use the Force

Tuesday, August 15th, 2006

My first blog was about the relatively small cost of staying healthy by adding more fun, pleasure and laughter to your life.  It’s as important to proactively stay healthy by adding these elements of pleasure to your daily life, as it is to know the people to whom you entrust your healthcare issues.  And it’s a lot cheaper than waiting until you’re sick, and having to go get expensive meds or surgeries.

There is a great work force of health carers out there, and many of US don’t even realize that so many of THEM even exist.

Many people of our parents’ generation scoff at the notions of Acupuncture, Chinese Medicine, Sound and Light therapy, Reflexology, and other such New Age practices.   Actually, in a lot of these cases, what’s old is new again.  Many of these so called New Age practices are based on ideas that have been handed down to us from the dawn of time.

Sun light has vitamins in it.  Lullabyes sooth our children to sleep.   Accupuncture has been practiced in China, alongside Chinese Medicine, for a very long time, and actually dates back to the neolithic era.

So please ask me, your friends, your doctors, and your Yoga teachers for recommendations of holistic practitioners - or click on the links that are on my links and partners page, and then click on their links.

It’ll open a whole new world to you that will allow you to be proactive in your daily quest to stay healthy.
