Laugh
August 29th, 2010It’s been said, through the ages that laughter is the best medicine. Lately it’s become an integral part of some Yoga classes. So who am I to knock the best medicine. Here’s a chuckle that a girl friend of mine passed on that was actually a conversation between herself and her kid (Not verbatim):
Kid: Mommy, God is all around us, right?
Mom: Yes son.
Kid: Then God is in the water too, right?
Mom: Yes son.
Kid thinks then asks: Mommy, how does God swim in the water?
Now many would reply that God doesn’t swim in the water, he walks on it. I just think to myself: I’m sticking to booze from now on. Drinking God just doesn’t appeal to me.
Those of you who know me, know that I don’t really drink. Those of you who don’t know me yet…………..What’s taking you so long to get to my new place for a massage?!!
My son was giggling last night. I had asked him to dim the lights so we could snuggle down, and he knew that the dimmer switch was a knob that turns, and he knew that it would be funny to ask me if the light switch was an up and down switch anyway………..20 times.
I have a FaceBook presence, in case you’re interested in some more cool site links. Some will make you laugh, mostly for the joy of finding great deals on neat stuff: Grommet; SpecialDeals.com; Plum Distric, etc.
The Onion is a spoof of a publication. If you’re looking for laughs, it might appeal to you. I’ve mentioned it here, before. My neice comes up with a lot of great funny stuff, too. Here’s a site that she found: naucon.net
This blog post feels almost laughably unfinished. On the other hand, I have been accused of going on too long and boring people to tears, so maybe this is a refreshing change for my readers.
In closing then, please heartily enjoy the laughter that I’ve passed to you. If I’ve made one person laugh by any of my blogging, then I’m happy to shut my mouth and rest on my laurels for a short time.
